Hallberg Ranch shows both an extroverted and introverted nature. Cool fruit and spice shape the wine. It is medium to light bodied. This vintage possesses finesse and power with layers of berry, forest floor and oak spice. The wine is graceful with new world qualities and a character reminiscent of old-world charm.

The perfect red to accompany any occasion. light notes of spiced Berrys dance across your tongue with the lasting after taste of a tart yet smoth berry. An all around amazing Pinto Noir, My new favorite.

Bought this for myself and a good friend. My friend said it was off the charts good. I concur. This is an outstanding Pinot. Great job on this one, Emeritus. Just ordered some more.

Best Pinot on the market today for the price! Truly outstanding with such a great after taste that pairs well with any cuisine. Can't wait until the next vintage comes out!

Excellent wine that goes with anything. Not too heavy and very smooth. Favorite wine for restaurants ( that carry it) and at home

We discovered Emeritus at Charley Palmer's in DC over 10 years ago. It has been our go-to celebration pinot ever since. It just hits all the right notes, whether as a stand alone or with dinner. I'll add that my wife and I typically drink wines at the $25 and under range, finding plenty to satisfy our palates, but splurge for the Emeritus pinots as they are just that good. We actually just purchsed several bottles for our daughters (now 4 and 6), so they may enjoy these wines when they are of age, and so that Mom and Dad can tell them about how we drank those same vintage years to celebrate their births :-)
