If you’ve ever dreamed of experiencing a wine country harvest, this is the bucket-list-worthy event for you!

Try your hand at harvesting with the Emeritus Crew and enjoy an unforgettable weekend in Russian River Valley!

Friday
6PM WELCOME DINNER IN OCCIDENTAL
Begin your harvest adventure by joining the Emeritus team and fellow guests for a delectable multicourse Mediterranean-inspired dinner where you’ll savor an array of limited-production Emeritus wines.

Saturday
5AM RISE AND SHINE, IT’S TIME TO HARVEST!
Since we only harvest at night, you’ll join Emeritus’ Vineyard Manager, Kirk Lokka and his seasoned team at the wee hours of the morning for a lesson in the art of grape picking. Once your fruit is harvested, you’ll head to the crush pad where Winemaker David Lattin will teach you how to turn grapes into wine. Hand-sort your fruit, help with punch downs and hop into a tank for some good old-fashion foot-treading! We’ll have a well-deserved, hearty breakfast with the crew, then we’ll get you back to your hotel for some R&R.

After some rest we’ll pick you up for an afternoon of horseback riding along the Pacific Coast. We'll transport you to a beautiful family-owned ranch, where you'll savor the sea air, ride through dunes and bask in panoramic views of the ocean.

Say farewell to your fellow adventurers and the Emeritus crew over dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants. which offers a unique blend of Tuscan and Californian cuisine. We’ll feast on an extravagant dinner, paired with some of our most coveted small-production and library wines.
