When in stock this wine is only available to E-Club members. The wine is lighter in color and body due to limited contact with the skins (about 3 days). This wine has complexity without being heavy. It is crisp, fun and the perfect complement to a warm day.
The 2014 growing season began early with a warm and dry spring. We were fortunate to have a moderately mild summer with foggy mornings, which delayed ripening. Once it was time to harvest there was no break in the picking. The wine shows the delicate character of this vineyard with layers of bright fruit and spice complemented by tantalizing acidity.
This vintage has fresh blueberry and the signature floral character of this vineyard. It is medium bodied with more acidity than tannins, reminiscent of the 2012 vintage but a little lighter on its feet.
During hot summer months, we highly recommend you add an ice pack to your wine shipment. Ice packs will keep wine cool for 2 days in transit. We can now ship via ground service to most states within 2 transit days, plus a day to process your order.
