October is Sonoma County Wine Month!
There are more reasons than ever to celebrate Sonoma County Wine Month this year—for starters, the fact that we can celebrate. With our tasting room patio open for appointments, Emeritus Vineyards is embracing the spirit of celebration by expanding our range of tasting experiences. Some of them are new, some are old favorites, and all are a salute to all things Pinot Noir!
We have expanded our Estate Tastings to be available on Monday as well. Bring your enthusiasm and we’ll bring the wine, Thursday through Monday at 11a, 1p, and 3p.
Send your palate soaring with our new Flight of the Clones. This tasting experience dives deep into important questions like, where do clones come from? Why are they different? What is a clone, and why does Emeritus grow so many? Available Thursday through Sunday at 11a, 1p, and 3p, our hospitality team educate and guide you through what makes our wines so special!
Vineyard tours are back! We’ll take you through the vines of Hallberg Ranch for an in-depth look at what goes into dry farming our fabulous Pinot Noir grapes, then back to our outdoor patio for a seated tasting. Appointments will be available weekly on Friday at 10:30a, 12:30p, and 2:30p, as well as Saturday-Sunday at 10:30a and 12:30p.
Can’t travel to Sonoma County in October? Not a problem, we have virtual tasting options as well!
Discover more about Emeritus wines with the Discovery Virtual Tastings. Available every Saturday starting at 1pm PDT/PST, this experience is included with advance purchase of the Discovery Trio package. Just remember to allow 3-5 business days (depending on shipping method and destination) for the wine to arrive before your tasting date. Then taste through the most recent releases of our Hallberg Ranch, Pinot Hill, and Wesley’s Reserve along with our hospitality staff, who will come prepared with pictures, educational videos, and lots of stories to tell.
Trek all over Pinot Hill without having to hike up those 10% grade slopes! Available every Sunday starting at 1pm PDT/PST, this experience is included with advance purchase of the Pinot Hill Trio package. Again, you’ll have to allow 3-5 business days (depending on shipping method and destination) for the wine to arrive before your tasting date, but we promise it’s worth the wait. When the time comes we’ll walk you through our newest releases of the Pinot Hill, Pinot Hill East, and Pinot Hill West! Come prepared for a deep dive into this estate vineyard, and how weather and location can affect the wine even within an area of only 30 planted acres.
