Harvest is coming earlier than ever in Sonoma County this year. Our crop looks good and the vines are healthy. In some areas of the vineyards we have already begun picking for the 2022 vintage!
We have officially wrapped up our picking season as of Saturday, September 18th! The winery is still abuzz with activity and will be for a few more weeks as the last picks become wine, but it feels great to have gotten so much done.
Every day is Pinot Noir day for us, especially now that harvest has started, but today it’s Pinot Noir day for the rest of the country, too. August 18th is National Pinot Noir Day, a time to pay homage to one of the world’s most popular wines!
It’s an exciting time around the winery as we anticipate the grapes coming in! The 2020 vintages have all been bottled, and everything is being set up and tested to ensure we’re ready for harvest.
