Harvest Weekend 2018

Try your hand at an authentic harvest with the Emeritus Crew and enjoy an unforgettable weekend in Russian River Valley!

Friday August 24th
6PM WELCOME DINNER AT EMERITUS’ HALLBERG RANCH
Begin your adventure by enjoying a rustic dinner in the vineyard at sunset. You’ll be treated to a special selection of wines. You’ll get your marching orders for the morning’s harvest from the Emeritus Team then off to bed!

Saturday, August 25th
5AM RISE AND SHINE, IT’S TIME TO HARVEST!
Since we only harvest at night you’ll join Emeritus’ Vineyard Manager, Kirk Lokka and his seasoned team at the wee hours of the morning. Once your fruit is picked you’ll head to the crush pad where Winemaker David Lattin will help you get grapes from the vineyard into the winery. Hand-sort your fruit, help with punch downs and hop into a tank to tread some grapes! We’ll have a well-deserved, hearty breakfast with the crew, then we’ll get you back to your hotel for some R&R.

   

After some rest we’ll pick you up for a kayaking adventure. Paddle down a serene 5-mile stretch of the Russian River taking in the natural beauty of Sonoma County.

Say farewell to your fellow adventurers and the Emeritus crew over dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants. Dinner will be paired with special releases and limited production Emeritus Pinots.
