We’ve put together five gift collections and three magnums, all at special holiday prices. All of them come from our dry-farmed estate vineyards in Sonoma’s Russian River Valley. Here’s how we’d think about matching a gift to the person receiving it.
For someone new to Pinot Noir: The Discovery Collection
The Discovery Collection ($150) is the easiest introduction to what we do. It pairs our two estate vineyards side by side, with the 2022 Hallberg Ranch and the 2022 Pinot Hill, along with a bottle of our 2025 Hallberg Blanc, a white Pinot. It’s a crowd-pleaser, and tasting the two Pinots side by side shows how different Pinot Noir can be from one vineyard to the next.
For the Pinot lover who wants to go deeper: The Hallberg Estate and Pinot Hill Collections
For someone who already loves Pinot Noir, these two collections explore each vineyard in more depth. Each pairs the vineyard’s signature wine with wines from its more focused parcels and blocks.
Hallberg Estate Collection ($235): 2022 Don’s Block, 2022 Hallberg Ranch, and 2022 Wesley’s Reserve.
Pinot Hill Collection ($215): 2022 Pinot Hill, 2022 Pinot Hill East, and 2022 Pinot Hill West.
Wesley’s Reserve, Pinot Hill East, and Pinot Hill West are single-parcel wines, each made from one distinct part of the vineyard. They’re a great way to taste how much character can vary within a single property. For the collector: The Single Block Collection
The Single Block Collection ($345) is our most focused gift: the 2023 La Combette, the 2023 Hallberg Ranch Elite, and the 2023 Pinot Hill Elite. Each of these wines comes from a single block and a single clone. We thin the vines in these blocks to carry half as many clusters as the rest of the vineyard, concentrating the flavors. These are our most age-worthy bottles, making them ideal for someone who will tuck them away and open them in a few years. They’re also tasting delicious today, if the recipient would like to open one for a holiday celebration.
For a party: The Celebration Collection and Our 2022 Magnums
The Celebration Collection ($190) brings together our two 2022 sparkling wines, Hallberg Brut and Hallberg Brut Rosé, along with our 2025 Hallberg Blanc. It’s the perfect set for toasting the season.
For a gift that doubles as the centerpiece of the table, a magnum holds the equivalent of two standard bottles and ages more slowly than a standard bottle. Good to Know Before You Order
Shipping: Prices already include our holiday discount, and shipping is extra. An adult must be present to sign for every delivery. For Thanksgiving, order by November 17 for ground delivery or November 19 for air. For Christmas, order by December 15 for ground delivery or December 17 for air.
